     Cordoba is considered the dove shooting capital of the world and Rio do Peidras is an exclusive dove shooting lodge in northern Cordoba. The hills and fields in the area produce every kind of imaginable shoot to suit each individual’s shooting preference.  Shooting is possible at every height and angle, which makes the experience both challenging and rewarding. 

     Set amongst the trees and fields; bordering a small, beautiful stream is the elegant and cozy lodge, finely decorated in a typical Argentine style.  It offers 5 charming en-suite bedrooms to accomodate our 10 guests.  At the end of the day, our guests relax and unwind in our comfortable living room with a fully stocked inclusive/complimentary bar.  Later, they enjoy gourmet meals in the large dining room of the lodge.

     Over 50 million doves annually inhabit the 60 mile radius of the lodge. Like doves world wide they offer fast and challenging shooting – the difference here is their monumental numbers. The lodge features 40 shooting fields which are within 30 – 40 minutes drive through rolling hills. On a typical day, guns will shoot from 1000 – 2500 cartridges or even more.

     Each gun is assigned a bird boy. He will assist with cartridges and refreshments as well as anything else you may need on the shoot day. There will also be one of the lodge’s professional guides to help you throughout your day’s shooting.

     A barbecue is provided for lunch in the shooting field and cocktails and a fantastic evening meal awaits you at the end of your day’s shooting.  The shooting fields are carefully rotated and rested to assure maximum bird numbers. This allows for a successful big bag shooting season all year round.
